Kaylee and her adoptive parents moved from Brooksville, Florida. It was there in Florida that Kaylee excelled at equestrian events and competitions. Horses are important to Kaylee and she continued time around horses after moving to Georgia. Kaylee’s adoptive parents and colleagues also state that Kaylee is on the autism spectrum, albeit high functioning.
Like many folks on the spectrum, Kaylee has little quirks and nuances which include punctuality and strict adherence as related to schedules. She prefers routine, while eating or drinking in front of others wasn’t something Kaylee was comfortable with as reported by some close to her.
Kaylee’s colleagues and family describe Kaylee as highly intelligent, and her previous teachers also confirm the same attributes. She is also described as a tomboy that loves art. Those who encountered Kaylee say the teen was extremely shy and sweet. Kaylee’s manager says the teen suffered from extreme anxiety at work when dealing with customers, to such a degree they allowed Kaylee to deal with other tasks that didn’t require direct human interaction.
Kaylee was homeschooled most recently, and prior to that, she attended a private academy in Florida. These are the facts, and when Kaylee didn’t show up to work on June 15 is when the speculation begins.
The adoptive parents of Kaylee told police that it’s likely the teenager climbed out of the second level of their home after being groomed by online predators. Media outlets have reported the case has even solicited the assistance of U.S. Marshalls and the FBI. Despite alleged involvement from both agencies, no press conference or announcement has been made by law enforcement that indicates Kaylee is being trafficked, as her parents allege.
The events that unfolded prior to Kaylee vanishing, paint a much different picture. Witnesses who are local to Carrollton say the teenager has run away before and her own parents admittedly stated that there was turmoil in the household before Kaylee went missing. The extent of that turmoil is not in the public purview, however, statistics and data are visible to the public. It shows that runaways are typically tied to trauma or turmoil at home.
In addition to statistics, Kaylee’s social media accounts and behavior show a fairly normal teenager that is evolving into a young woman who is slowly learning her boundaries, a task likely more challenging coming from an adoptive home and losing her core identity, even her name.
A reward for information leading to Kaylee Jones has been offered by her adoptive parents, and at this time that reward stands at $5,000. Adding confusion to their reward and narrative, the family recently blasted social media sleuths trying to help bring their daughter home as questions were alleged to be harassment. Allegedly family also cut short a search from a team trying to help, as that team wanted to first ensure Kaylee wasn’t on the several acres of land that encompass her home.
Kaylee has ties to Florida albeit geographically. Finding people who were close to her in other ways has proven to be a challenge. Jones also has biological ties to family in the Chicago area.

Something fishy is going on in my opinion. This girl was going online looking for love and attention she was not getting at home. I hope she is OK and found soon. Its bad enough being a young teenage girl with the struggle of puberty and peer pressure and then also having the difficulties she had in her life makes it that much harder. I will keep my opinion of the adopted parents to myself.

There are horse shows going on right now at the equestrian center in Ocala Florida. Since she is a Florida girl, maybe target some ads there if you haven’t already done so? Oh! Also, did she frequent certain stables or facilities for riding? If so, I wonder if the people who maintain the horses and properties have been properly looked into for possible sex crimes in their past? Just a thought.

We have had people disappearing left and right up here for some time now. There are many horse centers, private horse owners etc from there to all the way to Chattanooga. NW Ga has become a hotbed of missing, my friends son included. We also have an influx of cartel from Mexico fueling the drug trade as well as missing persons cases.
