Marcus Spanevelo has been arrested according to an April 2, 2022 Meta post by Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Department.
Law enforcement arrested the estranged boyfriend of missing mom 37-year-old Cassie Carli. Authorities confirmed earlier this week that the couple’s daughter, Saylor, was safe and accounted for with a CPS visit to a home in Alabama.
Spanevelo has been charged with giving false information to police and tampering with evidence, he was the last one to see the mother of his child before she vanished. Although Spanevelo resides in Florida where Cassie went missing, it was TBI and Tennessee Highway Patrol that made the arrest.
Law enforcement arrested Spanevelo after Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes division issued an arrest warrant.
Records show that Spanevelo has ties to Brazil, lives in Panama City and he works in Alabama
Cassie’s family reported on April 2nd that Saylor, the couple’s daughter, was taken in by Alabama Child Protection Services, and the family was still awaiting custody of Saylor. Carli’s sister Raeann posted a video on Meta saying she was ‘relieved’ Marcus was in police custody.
